Comprehensive Curriculum
TAP'D has a comprehensive firearms training curriculum that covers everything from basic firearms safety to advanced tactics and techniques. We offer firearms training courses on a variety of topics, including the 16hr certification and 3hr recertification Illinois Concealed Carry classes. Also, we offer marksmanship, self-defense, and home defense classes at our firearms academy.
The duration of our classes varies depending on the type of class and level of instruction. Classes can range from a few hours to multiple days. Please call, email, or check our website for more information on specific classes.

High Quality Equipment
If you do not own a firearm, we have various sub-compact, compact, and full-sized firearms you can utilize for our firearms training classes during the live fire.
Can I use my own firearm and ammunition?
Yes, you are allowed and encouraged to bring your own firearm for the live fire. If you bring ammunition, it must be stored in your vehicle. Ammunition is not allowed in the classroom.
Damon R. Jones
Instructor Damon Jones is our Chief Firearms Instructor with years of experience handling various firearms. He is a USCCA Offical Partner and Certified Firearms Instructor, who is also a U.S. Army Veteran.
